Lazy Sunday

I had planned to start this blog a little bit earlier but there has been a slight technical issue this evening...

He has now been safely moved off the keyboard and I have shut down the 100's of web pages he wanted to view...

Today has been a pretty lazy day, I struggled to get out of bed this morning and shockingly Rich got up before me (a massive rarity in this house). I followed not long after though but have pretty much spent the day on the sofa. I did manage to watch the Belgium Grand prix and then spent time either reading or watching DVD's.

Tomorrow we are going to the cinema so I may be a bit more interesting ;)

Despite Sunday's notoriously being my danger day I have had yet another great day on plan. It is really getting easier as days go on and having such a fab support network.

Food Diary

Breakfast

I went for something quick when I got up as I was hungry so I had Linda McCartney rosemary and red onion sausages (F) courgettes and mushrooms (SF) and hello kitty sketti (F).

Lunch

Me and Rich tried something different for lunch today and made welsh rarebit (HEA and HEB x2). It's quite simple to make you separate 2 eggs and whisk the whites until they peak. In another bowl you mix the yolks, cheese (I used 80g) and 1tsp of paprika and 1tsp of mustard powder. You then combine the two bowls and add to the top of some lightly toasted bread. We then grilled it for 3-4 minutes. I have to say it felt really naughty and was so nice. I will definitely make again.

After this we decided to have some melon and grapes (SF)

Dinner

It's been ages since we have had a sunday roast so I had to have one today. You will see Doug in the background not long after I took this he tried to steal one of my yorkshire puddings :( he didn't get away with it though. The yorkshire puddings are tesco value ones and are 2 syns each. I also had quorn roast (F) lots of veg (SF) roast potatoes and gravy (1.5 syns). I absolutely loved my roast today and it made me feel so good eating all this gorgeous food.

Pudding

Whilst I was in the cooking mood today I decided to make some syn free pancakes...this was not without issues though as I managed to burn my first lot of chocolate I was melting in the microwave and the microwave started sparking...this I think is a bad sign...

The pancakes are simple to make, you separate two eggs and whisk together the whites and sweetener until it is nice and frothy. You then add the yolks and vanilla essence and cook as normal. I added chopped banana inside the pancakes once they were done and spread a melted freddo on top taking my total syns to 10.5 for the day.

Drinks

My usual coffee (HEA), water and pepsi max.

I think I am going to finish up the 10th anniversary Les Miserables and then head to bed so night night all xoxo
