Sleepy girl and weigh in day

Quick update tonight as I am a very tired girl tonight. Work was tiring today as I was trying to do maths again and then we had a tour of our new office which is rather pretty. However I wanted to give an update on weigh in.

I lost 4.5lbs this week which I am really chuffed with. It feels nice being back on plan and eating good food. I have set myself quite a challenge this year to hit target for our wedding but I want to try my hardest.

Food wise I've had some nice noms today and used the rest of my syns on a takeaway pizza

Usual breakfast of Dorset fruit with cherries blueberries and a banana.

Mid morning cheese snack (HEA)

Curried vegetable soup and fruit.

Takeaway pizza for dinner taking me up to 105 syns for the week...not something that I will do every week but I enjoyed it.

Now I'm going to let my dinner go down then curl up in bed and watch some CSI Las Vegas night night all xoxo

Where did the weekend go??

Sorry for the radio silence, the weekend seemed to fly by despite spending yesterday doing very little. I will rewind to Saturday and fill you in on all the fun and frolics that was my weekend.

It started a little earlier than I normally plan on a Saturday however I had plans with the girls and wanted to ensure I got breakfast inside me before we went out. Due to the time I had to consume a monster cup of coffee.
The plan of action for the day was to go and look at wedding dresses and see what sort of style suited me. We started posh by wandering up to Clifton (I got to spy my new office and its gorgeous view!!) but they require appointments so we wandered around a bit...looked in a few charity shops (and got glared at in one for our general hyperness...though we did keep picking up bits and seeing if we could wear them mainly met with a resounding no from some of us....especially when it came to a hat and some shoes.

There was a lush food market on in Clifton which had many tempting things on display but we were good and avoided the lush food including much cheese and continued on our womble about.
Once we exhausted Clifton we headed into the city centre but annoyingly my asthma was playing up...now one good thing for me and asthma is expresso so we wandered into House of Fraser to see if we could have some tasters of their coffee.
They actually let you serve yourself so I had a few expressos and got my hyper on and also took on the role of supplying samples to other customers....maybe i could have a new career as a caffeine enabler.

We went to the pub for lunch finding a nice weatherspoons so we could continue to be on plan angels as we are shining our halos this week and commenced planning stuff that we need to consider for a wedding....there is much to think about.
Dress shopping was a stressful experience as they didn't seem to stock my size in most and whilst I know come the day I won't be this size I wanted an idea. I did find a few dresses that made me look like a proper bride but ebay proved to be more successful. I did feel a bit down about the experience at first as the lady 'assisting' me didn't seem to understand that I was not going to get into the tiny size she had brought and was trying to get me out of a dress by yanking it. It did make me more determined to shift some flubber though.

We were rather knackered after wandering around shops so headed home for some rest and dinner before meeting up again to see Tracy's hubbies band who were fab.
We also continued our planning mission which descended into madness when we just ended up writing silly notes to each other and declaring boys have cooties.
Food wise Saturday was an excellent on plan day.
Magic muffins (HEB) with fruit and yogurt.
5 bean chilli in weatherspoons...I didn't have the nachos and said 2 syns for any oil in cooking. It was gorgeous and I properly love the bowl it was served in.
Pasta bake with salad, I made the tomato sauce from scratch and added in some blue cheese triangles (3 syns). I then topped it with two lots of healthy extra of cheese. Did you know I love cheese?

Once I got home from Mark's gig I headed straight to bed at was exhausted.

On to yesterday my asthma was a real pain in the butt so the day was mainly filled with many movies and cups of expresso
I watched world war z which wasn't the best, hitchcock which was fab and made me want to watch psycho so I did and then watched the switch which was dubbed a romcom...it was dullnoncom more like.

So as yesterday was a very lazy day I will entertain you with food.
Breakfast sw fry up with heb of toast, 1 syn for 2 tsp of flora lighter than light and 1.5 for the quorn bacon.
Cheesy orzo pasta with veggies, I used a whole tub of low low.
Monster roast only 1.5 syns for the gravy.
Pudding sw brownies which are really simple to make.

Ingredients

30g of cocoa
30g of sweetener
1 tsp of vanilla essence
3 eggs

You seperate the eggs, mix the yolks cocoa sweetener and essence. Whisk the whites until they peak and then combine with the cocoa mix. They need about 20 minutes at 180. The white stuff is quark mixed with sweetener and white choc options which was gorgeous.

Today I had the day off work as my new phone was being delivered, I listened to my lovely Mitchy on the radio and just generally hung about with the master Doug. My new phone is lovely and I can now use a phone without the battery dying within a few hours.

Food wise its the day before weigh in and the trickiest day for me as I was tempted by a takeaway tonight but I remember how blimpy I felt Saturday and I don't enjoy that...I'd rather have a loss tomorrow night than the pizza that I was craving.
Another fry up with beans this time and 1.5 syns for the bacon.
Quorn roast, cheese and mayo sandwich (HEA, HEB and 2 syns for 15g of extra bread and 1tbsp of lighter than light mayo) with some fruit.
Dinner was orzo with 75g of garlic and herb philli stirred in (HEB) mushrooms, courgette, onion and quorn low fat sausages.
Rest of my syns 3.5 for the raisins and 3 for the bubbly bite taking me to 10 for the day.

So that's you all caught up tomorrow is weigh in and I'm hoping for a good result as I have been on plan. I'm now going to catch up on Supersize vs Superskinny. Night night all xoxo

Lovely Friday is here at last

It's been quite a long week this week so I was glad to wake up this morning with the realisation it was Friday which meant the weekend was close. Today has been a pretty good day I spent the day working through an account and I found it oddly satisfying pulling it apart. I didn't expect to enjoy a job in finance but it's really enjoyable and challenging.

The not so good part of the day was the reality hitting me on the walk home...my fitness has deteriorated quite a lot in the past few months. A while back 3 miles was nothing to me now walking for 10 minutes seems a struggle. I know the more I do the stronger I'll become again but its frustrating to see the progress I've previously made dissapear in a matter of months. I really did let myself down on that front but at least its a good reminder of what benefits being on plan have apart from gorgeous food. I did manage to walk a mile each way between the car and work and take Doug out for a walk tonight but I'm nice and stiff and sore.
I only remembered to track my walk on the way back to the car and even then I got distracted by a church I walk past daily.
I am not remotely religious but I love churches they are gorgeous buildings and this one in particular is stunning. Before we move offices I may have to wander inside the church and have a potter around. We move to a different part of Bristol in just over a week and the new office is in the gorgeous Clifton area so I will share some nice views with you I'm sure.

This evening me and Rich have had our usual movie night and we watched Hansel and Gretal: Witch Hunters.
It was a good film and Jeremy Renner is a nice bit of a totty. I am pondering bed soon as I am muchly sleepy but of course I need to write some words that make sense for you guys and enjoy Birds of a Feather.

Food wise it's been another fab day on plan with some gorgeous food.
Guess what I had for breakfast.....I should change it up a bit shouldn't I.....except I do love my dorset simply fruity muesli....and my bran flakes had gone that kinda of horrible that happens when you forget them in your cupboard....
Mid morning snack attack...grapes and coffee....consumed seperately though I do wonder how grapes dunked in coffee would be...
Lunch was mushy pea curry with added courgettes and mushrooms and batchelors curry rice. I haven't had mushy pea curry in ages I'd forgotten how gorgeous it was. I followed this with a bit more superfree.
Dinner was gorgeous quorn southern fried burgers (5 syns for both) with low low cheese slices (HEA) and a wholemeal roll (HEB). I added 1tbsp of Hellmann's lighter than light mayo (1 syn) and iceberg lettuce and it was gorgeous. It was worth spending 6 syns on dinner it was so naughty without being naughty.
Pudding was a mint chocolate muller dessert (5 syns) taking my total too 11 for the day.

I am out most of the day tomorrow and on the evening so may not get a blog up so if I don't I will double up on Sunday.

Night night all xoxo and enjoy your weekend

Is it Thursday???

Today didn't start off too well when i woke up about 6 and my head was banging...not sure why I'm thinking I may just be a bit bunged up in the head but some painkillers and an extra bit of sleep helped change it from banging to dull ache which has refused to go away today.

The day did improve with a nice walk to work gossiping with Jen who had met us on route and what followed was a challenging but good day at work. I am really enjoying my job at the moment its a major challenge for me but the team are fab and the banter is good. I was quite proud of myself after spending 5 hours on an account reconciliation (experts would probably take an hour haha) and getting the figures to match...unfortunately there is more work to come on it tomorrow but it keeps me busy. I also have a bet on with one of the lads on the team over who will finish higher Arsenal or Liverpool....I hope I win otherwise I have to make him a carrot cake....

This evening has been quiet...I've purchased the most epic birthday present for Mitchy and spent the evening watching The Great Sports Relief Bake off which has made me chuckle a lot (for those who have not seen tonights just watch out for some special moments with salt....I can't wait for the new series of bake off its so good and makes me want to go and bake many cupcakes.

I'm going to be heading to bed soon, very confused over what day it is but I have been reliably informed tomorrow is Friday. The weekend is shaping up to be a lot of fun as Saturday I am off out with the girls to see what wedding dresses look like in the flesh (I have found my dream dress but I best check I won't look silly in it) and then a gig in the evening. Sunday is a planned lazy day I love my lazy Sundays where I just relax with the boys.

Food wise I have enjoyed my meals today two days on plan under the belt now and I'm liking it.
Breakfast was standard work food dorset simply fruity muesli bluebs and a nana washed down with the first of many coffees.
Lunch speedy tomato soup followed by fruit.
Hunters quorn fillets with quorn bacon and hea of cheese (1.5 syns) the potatoes were made with a mix of garlic flora lighter than light and fry light (0.5). It was gorgeous.
Bake off snacks hot chocolate (2 syns) nutragrain breakfast biscuits (2 for HEB) danio (3) and bubbly bite (3). I crumbled the biscuits in the danio and it was gorgeous. My total syns were 10 today which I am happy with.

My plan now is to curl up in bed with either my kindle or CSI depending who wins the battle...it is likely the book will tonight. Night night all xoxo

Guess who's back

I went AWOL again didn't I...no blog in a week. Remember how I said the lurgy hit...well the lurgy got worse resulting in much snot much chesty coughs and general illness. I felt rubbish until Sunday when I began to feel human again.

Weigh in wasn't good this week I put on again but I have now received a fantastic motivation to stick to plan...me and my gorgeous fiance have booked our wedding date for 1st November this year. I don't want to look back in years to come and regret the size I am and not feel like a million dollars on our big day so I have 40 weigh ins to go and want to lose as much as possible...operation bride has commenced. Dress viewing and wedding fairs have been planned so I can double check the style of dress I have my heart set on looks right.

Apart from that life is quiet at the moment, work is good though I am returning home from each day feeling like a zombie...maths is hard!

Due to the zombie nature of my brain I'm heading to bed soon so will show you my food. I have had a lovely full day on plan today with some tasty food.
Breakfast is no surprise Dorset simply fruity muesli (HEB) with a banana and blueberries and yogurt.
Mid morning snack of chickpea dahl muffins and grapes.
Lunch pasta salad and fruit which was eaten at my desk after a visit to see the Apple genius' as my phone is evil. After some arguing with my network a new phone is on route.
Dinner Big Mac in a bowl (2 syns and HEA cheese) with sw chips.
Cookie crisps (4.5 syns) and rocky road hifi bars (HEB).

I had my other HEA for milk and had some remaining to make a hot chocolate to enjoy whilst writing this. My syns for today are 8.5 which is not shabby at all I am nice and full now.

Sticking to plan

The lurgy has fully hit now and quite frankly I feel poo. Colds are evil they sneak up on you make you look silly and make you sneeze far too much.

Due to this I've not only been craving carbs today I've also really been craving junk food but I did not succumb even though Rich did offer to get us a chinese. I'm proud of myself as i still managed to cook a really yummy dinner.

This will be a short blog tonight as I need to get myself to bed.
Toasted cous cous with fruit and yogurt.
Mid morning satsuma snack.
Pasta in broccoli and spinach soup (1.5 syns for the blue laughing cow triangle) followed by fruit.
Homemade enchiladas with rice and salad. The enchiladas were an HEA HEB x2 and 4.5 syns for the extra wrap. The filling was made with chilli powder, tinned tomatoes, quorn chicken, onions and mushrooms. It hit the spot as was really cheesy and stodgy but perfectly on plan.
I splashed out on 15 syns today which is unusual for me but still on plan.

I am going to head to bed now in the hope I wake up tomorrow cured of the lurgy night night xoxo
